Minor programs

The additional educational program Minor is a set of disciplines and (or) modules and other types of educational work, determined by the student for study in order to form additional competencies. Minor is offered for selection to all undergraduate students. Each student is required to choose one Minor for study. Minor is studied in the second (for students on shortened programs based on TVE) and third year (with full term of study) of bachelor's degree. Minor consists of four disciplines studied sequentially, with a workload of 20 credits (the workload of each discipline is 5 credits). The disciplines of the additional educational program — Minor are studied by students within the framework of elective component disciplines and their volume is included in the total volume of academic credits (240 credits of the main program) required for the award of a bachelor's degree in engineering and technology.
